The City of Bristol Rowing Club (CoBRC) had a 15-year-old wooden pontoon in need of replacement. WMS was hired to remove the old pontoon and replace it with a longer-lasting option.

Our team began by breaking the pontoon into 3 sections for ease of transport.

Each section had to be crane lifted out of the marina and onto a lorry then brought back to our warehouse for disposal.

As the replacement for their old wooden pontoon, CoBRC selected an EasyFloat pontoon – a fantastic choice. EasyFloat is the lowest freeboard pontoon available, perfect for a rowing club! Our team installed the new pontoon using custom brackets attached to the quay wall, allowing the pontoon to rise and fall with the tide.
